In terms of extracurriculars, I participated actively as a member of First Robotics Competition Team 4911 in the 2020 and 2021 competition seasons, and played JV soccer.

As a Research Services Student Assistant at TRIUMF, I supported the administration of research and innovation activities while upholding the organization’s standards of accuracy, collaboration, and integrity.
Key duties included maintaining and updating legal agreements, grant, and patent portfolio databases to ensure compliance across jurisdictions. I facilitated communication between researchers and external partners, supporting grant preparation and coordinating engagement sessions with funding agencies such as NSERC, Horizon Europe, and various non-profit organizations. I also assisted in developing research security policies and data management plans aligned with Tri-Agency and EU regulatory frameworks.
As as SBSO, I was responsible for serving and educating the public while upholding the agency’s values of professionalism, respect, and integrity.
Key duties include conducting interviews with travelers, verifying their declarations and goods, and referring individuals and items for further examination under the guidelines set by Canadian legislation, particularly the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act (IRPA) and Customs Act.
As an intern in the Key Votes team, I was responsible for conducting legislative research on state bills, resolutions, and amendments and writing executive summaries for Vote Smart’s non-partisan database.
During this time, the 117th U.S. Congress was in session.
As an intern, I was responsible for tracking nearly 10,000 individual donations from Political Action Committees (PACs) and Super PACs during the Washington state 2022 primaries.
I also assisted political candidates in their formal correspondance with donors.

As a Service Team Lead, I planned and hosted weekly large-group events for groups of 20-50, the annual winter gala and coffeehouse at UBC, Vancouver Campus.
As Small Group Leader, I help lead discussions and small-group events and played a role in assisting with Audio and Visual equipment.
As a student representative at Vancouver International Airport, I primarily acted as a liaison between the SBSO program and management, assisting with issues like conflict management to training and onboarding activities.
As a student representative on the NGN Student Committee, I was primarily responsible for the Student’s NGN Newsletter initiative, designed to keep student employees up-to-date on opportunities like webinars, networking events, and job portals.
I also assisted in the planning and hosting of the Student Speaker series – presentations designed to assist students with better understanding their role within the agency and the resources available to them for professional development.
As external director, I helped organize the first Careers in Canadian Politics Panel with Senator Mobina Jaffer and representatives of MLA Niki Sharma and MP Joyce Murray, in which participants were given the opportunity to learn first-hand what it is like to work in politics.
I also led external communications, fundraising events, and social-networking nights.

As a student in BioTalent’s SWPP, I regularly gain access to additional professional training and a wage subsidy for my co-op with TRIUMF.
The SWPP is an initiative to increase the job-readiness of students registered in STEM, healthcare (with an overlap into the bio-economy), business, and all other programs at Canadian post-secondary institutions.
